I've decided I need to sell the Octo-pony so I can buy Apoxie Sculpt for the rest of the sea sprites. I've gotten as far as I'm going to with the lionfish without chucking it out the window, and since it doesn't matter anyway I'm calling it quits.

::sigh:: the new ponies are on amazon.com (and not out in stores yet) and I have no moneys. I wish I didn't have total ADD where my art projects are concerned. ,__,

Nevermind about the fingers not blistering thing. I dunno why the hell they are, except perhaps because I haven't been using them enough. (quiet, you XD ) I'm now working on an adult pony's head, and this seems to be going very well so I think I'll just do them all like this now. Though the amount of glue involved takes ages to dry, since the baby pony is still oozing glue. >_>
I've decided to do a total of 8 pepper ponies. Six adults and two babies. Getting the backcard art done is going to be fun. >_>;; I've done charms for them too. I need to get ahold of the new target baby, since I can't seem to come up with a properly orange paint.

I just bought some ostrich eggs. Hollow ^^; I'm not that brave. I've been looking and looking since before easter, and I finally found some for a decent price (getting them below $10 and with decent shipping was a pain in the ass). They're imperfect, but I e-mailed them and asked if the imperfections could be painted/sanded over and they said most definitely. So I got 4 @ $5 each. :) I can't wait, I'm definitely going to do one for my (paternal) grandmother (since she's the easter nut). I'm not sure on a design yet, but it should be fun.
I'm currently rehairing a baby pony using the "tension method" which involves just shoving the hair in the plug holes and then dumping a bunch of glue inside the head when you're finished. I may continue to use this method, since it does go faster. I just finished the head and I started last night (this is also a baby pony, so it's got much less hair than an adult). Better than months and months of rehairing and blistering my fingers x__x
Though I did manage to sleep on my wrist wrong or something, since it's bugging me again and hasn't really done so since being fired. T__T And I can't find my brace, so I'm just making it worse. XP
